Project Pichincha - Day 2

Project Number 2 - Day 2

Breakfast - Today I had two slices of pineapple and a carafe of coffee with milk for breakfast.

Lunch - I made a bowl of pasta with some fresh veggies, oil and vinegar. It was kind of like pasta salad and delicious.

Dinner - Ryan made chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. Mmm mmm mmm.

I noticed today that when I make a big lunch I don't really want to eat any snacks during the afternoon.

Day in the Life

Well, Chuki seems to be sick. He's still wearing the big old cone collar because he still has his stitches in because his cut still isn't healing all of the way. He's off to the vet this afternoon with Ryan. I think he has an ear infection in both ears because the cone gets so dirty and it's nearly impossible to clean his ears with it on.

In other news, there's a chance that we'll be able to get a 30 day extension on our visas for FREE! How amazing would that be? That would seriously be just the kind of thing Ecuador could do to redeem itself! Keep everything crossed that this works out and there's not a single hitch!

We're starting to sell our furniture. If you're in Quito keep your eyes open for more information! We seriously have a bunch of stuff and it all will be sold at a great price! The whole process will be first come first serve, so let me know if there's something you're looking for!

And lastly, my computer is full. ABSOLUTELY FULL. That's what happens I guess when you keep every single picture you've taken over the last 6 or so years in one spot. We're in the process of transferring all of the photos from before we came to Ecuador to Ryan's computer. The problem with this is that Ryan's computer and my computer have to share a battery. So I fill up my iPod nano with 5Gs of photos, turn off my computer, switch the battery, open his computer, and transfer the photos. It's a process! That's for sure! Top on our list of 'Things to Buy' is this and this. Hopefully we'll be able to put a little aside when we're home so we don't leave for Korea, or where ever is next, with this ancient fossil!
